Anoth trip another time of contacing you and asking you to be our driver for some time in Bali in November 2010.
We have concluded that a trip to Bali just wouldn’t be complete unless we contact you and ask you to pick us up from the airport and show us around to more places in Bali before dropping us back at the airport for our return visit home to Western Australia.

Gede has been my driver/guide/general holiday fix-it man on every visit (which must be almost annually) to Bali for twenty years and I can absolutely recommend him to any holiday maker visiting the island. Forget about travel agents whose advice is only based on brochures & websites...Gede has the network of contacts and on-the-ground knowledge to organise every part of your holiday including accomodation, tours and general travel. We met Gede by accident but how fortunate we were. Gede was most professional and helpful. The meaning would have been lost in the interpretation many times over if not for Gede’s skillful help. Bali Culture

The Balinese are an extremely devote and spiritual mix. In fact, in Bali there are over 10,000 temples on the small but densely populated island. The Balinese believe that good spirits dwell in the mountains and that the seas are home to demons. Therefore, most villages have at least three main temples: one of which is the Pura Puseh or ‘temple of origin’, is dedicated to the village founders and which faces to Mt Agung - home to Pura Besakihthe mother temple on Bali. Also, each home, rice field or market can have several temples and as well as rice fields. Daily offerings are made at these temples in he form of food, cigarettes, sweets and sometimes even money in order to honor the good spirits and satiate the evil spirits.
Balinese society is founded on the Hindu caste system, though there are several differences. For example, the Balinese do not have untouchables. Instead in Bali, there are four castes; Sundras , the peasants who comprise over 90% of the population, Wesias , the warrior caste, which also includes traders and some nobility, Satrias , the caste of kings, and Pedanas, the holy men and priests (brahman). Amazingly, each caste has its own language; a separate dialect exists to enable someone to address one of unknown caste to avoid disrespect. Luckily, to prevent confusion, the national language of Indonesia (Bahasia Indonesia), is taught in schools and enables everyone generally to communicate with one another.

There are two sub-classes in Bali called the Subak and the Banjar. The Subak controls who will plant rice and when (plantings are staggered so that pestilence is minimized). All farmers or rice paddy owners must join the Subak in their village. As well and more importantly the Subak ensures that all farmers receive just amounts of irrigation water. Meanwhile, the Banjar are in charge of all other aspects of Balinese life such as marriages, cremations, community service and festivals.
In Bali, the birth of a child is attended by the entire family, and a holy man who invokes spiritual powers and aids the delivery. Balinese are named according to its order in the family; Wayan for the first born, Made for the second, Nyoman for the third and Ketut for the fourth. The names are repeated for more than four c

Uluwatu Temple
Bali Travel Information, Bali Temple, Uluwatu Temple is one of Sad Kahyangan in Bali (six big group of Bali Temple ), located in Pecatu Village region, Subdistrict of South Kuta, Badung Regency, about 25 Km southerly part of Denpasar town. The temple located the above coral reef sordid to sea about 80 meters from sea level. When seen from direction way, hence its Uluwatu Temple location located in Southwest from Bali island. In eastside of this temple there is Kekeran Forrest (interdict forest) own the temple which is occupied by a lot of monkey and other animal. Name Uluwatu come from word ulu meaning head or tip of and watu meaning stone. Therefore Uluwatu Temple mean the temple built in tip of coral reef.
Uluwatu Temple in Story
In the right and left of building or pelinggih Ida Bagus Ratu Jurit in complex of Uluwatu Temple, there are two stone mangers it's for looking like a boat. When both of it united hence it's for similar to sarcophagus, that is stone case result of megalithic era culture. If sarcophagus which is there are in Dalem Jurit complex represent the artifact (artifact which is true come from the inscription that the artifact which is not removed from other inscription), hence Uluwatu Temple represent the place sanctified by since era of culture megalithic (About 500 S.M).

In papyrus of Usana Bali mentioned that Mpu Kuturan (Saint teaching Hinduism in Bali) a lot of built the temple in Bali for example Uluwatu Temple. In papyrus Dwijendra Tatwa elaborated by that Mpu Kuturan twice pay a visit to this temple:

* Second visit done when Mpu Kuturan will reach the nature Moksa. OnTuesday of Kliwon Medangsya (Balinese Calendar) witnessed by a fisherman, his name Ki Pasek Nambangan, he looked to be like flash only in the form of very very bright light step into the space called ngeluwur.
